A company can buy Pro for its people
Briefcase AI covers everyday work comfortably. A few people lean on the assistant far harder than that — someone running cross-tool analysis all week, or writing documents all day. Rather than ask them to pay for a work tool out of their own pocket, a company can upgrade those individuals to Pro and pick up the bill itself.
- Chosen person by person — a team of forty can put three on Pro.
- Billed to the company, on the bill it already has.
- They still choose their own model, chat by chat.
- It works inside that company; buying it yourself is what carries it to all of them.
Already paying for Pro yourself? Yours is the one that runs, and your employer isn’t charged for it. Paying for someone’s assistant never changes what it can see either — the assistant works through the same role permissions as the rest of your workspace, whoever bought it.
Four levels of thinking
Thinking harder costs more, so the right level is the one that fits the job — not the cheapest, and not automatically the strongest. Checking a stock figure doesn’t need the top of the range; a month-end analysis you’d otherwise pay someone for does.

Priced by the job rather than by the message, so you can see what a level actually costs before you pick it. The rates are the same whether you bought Pro or your company bought it for you — a seat changes who pays, never the price.

Figures are typical costs for a job of that kind, to help you compare levels — you are billed for the work actually done, never a flat fee per job. Short jobs cost less than shown and long ones more; a document here means a few pages, and a study means a genuine cross-tool piece of research. On Briefcase AI none of this is charged to you: it’s covered by the plan.
It asks before it acts

It also cannot see more than you can. The assistant works through the same role permissions as the rest of your workspace, so a staff member’s assistant sees a staff member’s data — no more. That holds on Pro too: paying for it yourself changes the bill, never your access.
